Lee studied at South Wales Baptist College, then found himself called away from his native Wales to work "abroad" in deepest Devon!

Among other talents, he plays the guitar.

What sort of church are we?

We are a warm (literally) and welcoming church made up of people from various backgrounds.

The Services on Sunday are at 10.30, and include Communion on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month.

Our music includes hymns and songs accompanied by organ or small music group, as appropriate, and the words are projected onto a large screen, as are the Bible readings.

The services are recorded, and anyone wishing for a CD can request one at the end of the service. We take them to those who are unable to come to worship, to help them feel part of the family.

Our church family loves to welcome children! We have a Children's Corner where young children can be with their parents during the service until they feel confident to join in the "creche" programme. "Lighthouse" has a programme catering for 3s to 11s. Rock Solid is a group for 11+ children.

Coffee, tea, squash and biscuits are served after the service, and that is the time we get to know people better.

We try to be an inclusive church, and we have wheel chair access, disabled toilets and a loop system (just switch your hearing aid to 'T').

Visitors from abroad might like to know that our congregation includes fluent speakers of French, Greek or Italian ( and basic Sinhala).
